We have settled into a "reading zone!" Students continue to pick out "just right" books & read ... read ... read!

Reminders

Please make sure your child gets his/her weekly reflection signed each weekend to be returned to school on Monday.

Your children MUST continue to practice their multiplication facts for speed and accuracy! They must know the multiples through 10 but I tell them that 11 & 12 is a challenge for them!

Each night your child is expected to read at least 40 minutes at this point in the year. Please make sure your child is filling in his/her reading calendar & getting it signed. Helpful Hint: have your child read aloud to you 1-2 x's per week to practice their reading fluency.

Your child must complete the back of his/her reading calendar by Friday of each week. Please make sure child completes this.

Please make sure you are checking your child's planner each night for homework assignments.

Please make sure your child has a nut-free healthy snack each day.

P.E. is on Mondays & Wednesdays - please make sure your child wears sneakers on these days.

Snow has finally graced us with its presence -- make sure your child has hat, gloves/mittens, snow pants and boots each day for recess.
